Youth Engagement Forum Garners Support of Local Community

We are excited to see the strong local support for the 2014 Youth Engagement Forum to be held in Sault Ste. Marie on February 11th at Algoma’s Water Tower Inn.

With a focus on youth aged 15-29 the forum will set out to engage youth and youth workers to gain information about the barriers, gaps and opportunities that exist related to education, employment and entrepreneurship, and to mobilize the community to act on the opportunities and challenges identified.

More than fifty youth, and a range of youth service providers from the Algoma district, are expected to participate in the forum.

The Youth Engagement Forum 2014 is funded with support from the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment and the Ministry of Research and Innovation.
